Northcom sees imminent attack The new U.S. Northern Command issued a warning on Wednesday that a terrorist attack was imminent.
The classified intelligence notice said the warning was put out in response to the latest audiotape purportedly from al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. The tape warned the United States and its allies that "you will be killed just as you kill, and will be bombed just as you bomb."

"The threats are said to be related to the Muslim holy period of Ramadan" Ramadan is the period in which the U.S. is supposed to refrain from bombing terrorists while being bombed by terrorists. Right?

Didn't we ignore Ramadamadingdong when we went after the Taliban? I don't think we could care less anymore.

Well if they pick those three cities they will be hitting our economy again BIG TIME! I expected New York and Washington to get hit again. Los Angeles would be another biggie for them.

Ive felt that these jokers wont quit until NYC and DC are in rubble. Sorry, that's the way I feel.

I don't see where the loss of Hollywood would be any big deal... A dirty bomb in LA or Boston would cost this economy trillions. People in this country had better start getting series about terrorists or we're all in for another huge wake up call.

It's the silly season where they are invited to the "People's House" to have din din while Bush and Powell look embarassed and uneasy in the midst of the religion of peace.

I agree. They are not finished with New York and D.C. Some people have suggested they won't target NY or Washington because they already did - that's not true. New York is the biggest city and has the Stock exchange and a huge population on a small island and also Washington has our president and Congress and the Pentagon. What better targets could there be?

I agree and I live in NYC.

I agree as well, from DC.
We're moving a bit further away from the city next week. I'm tired of these alerts and warnings, and we've already sold the house (closing also is next week).
