Thank heavens Tom Daschle is on the case.

Isn't it amazing how uniformly bad his timing is?

What is this...the fourth (or fifth) time he's opened his mouth about the war and had the US military put his foot in it for him?

lol

It's gotten so bad that whenever he opens his mouth on the subject, I start looking for a recent success to pop up in the news.

I understand the frustration of Mr. Daschle, but I don't think he has a clue how badly he is coming off when he does that. No one believes for one second that the Democrats would be prosecuting the war on terrorism with one-tenth the intensity that Bush has. Any sniping on their part about not having caught bin Laden yet just sounds like so much adolescent crap.

Osama bin Laden is not an idiot, he has millions of dollars at his disposal, and he is not going to be easy to find or eliminate. For the Democrats to pretend that they would have done so by now is disgusting to watch and to hear.

Democrats continue to treat this as if it's a domestic policy dispute, instead of a national struggle to keep Americans alive while a fabulously wealthy crazy man tries to find ingenious ways to kill us. If they think they took a drubbing this November, just wait if they keep this up. They have either got to get on board with the rest of us, or they are headed for oblivion.

I'm wondering how many more of these Bush and Rumsfeld have racked up somewhere in the basement at the Pentagon, just waiting to "drop them" when little Tommy makes one of his specious little speeches.

Isn't it amazing how Daschle hasn't yet figured out that the WH will announce these arrests whenever he opens his pie hole?

I have to think that the timing of the announcement is political. The WH knew they could hold it until they needed it -- nothing lost by not announcing it, and lots to gain by slapping Tommy down.

Gotta love it. The D's aren't used to playing the game with somebody who knows how to play back....

The Dasshole really ought to invest in an oral butt-plug.
