You can pretty much tell how much talent a female singer really has by how many of their clothes they can leave on. You can't really tell one pop singer's voice from another's, they all sound the same so it's who shows the most skin and wiggles the most provocatively. They're basically all strippers who sing a bit.

Oh boy you hit the nail right on the head, that kizbop album is gross imagine 7 year old singing "all I wanna do" I told my daughter that music was for adults and that album is disgusting for children.

If you don't mind the expense, Land's End, LL Bean and Talbot's Kids all carry very nice clothing for girls. Shoes, too.

I shop for my girls at the secondhand store, with surprising success. (I also sew, less successfully ...).

My 4yo is gorgeous, and my 2yo has amazing blond curls. Maybe we can set something up ...

My boys are like bookends: Billy (6) is tall and lean with dark hair and eyes the color of fresh-baked gingersnaps. He has two speeds: 100 mph and comatose.

John (5) is going to be our strong, silent type. Blonde, he has eyes so light blue they appear silver (like moi). He is nowhere near as fast as his brother, but I advise Billy to be nice to him anyway, as if John ever catches him, Billy's a dead man. LOL

We should make a date (in 15 years or so...)

They sound like wonderful boys! We have a Billy, too, 8 years old, faster than fast and twice as skinny. He wants to be a farmer when he grows up. Tom, age 6, will be seeking early admission to the Marines, if he survives that long. Last week he decided he was a plant-eating dinosaur and ate some shrubbery in the back yard; made himself sick for a whole day.

Christina has a good voice, she has a Grammy and really doesn't need to do this..same with Leann. But in order to sell millions upon millions of records you need 'buzz,' hype and controversy. If this was Britney or Shania I could understand but for singers who are actually talented to start doing this is a bad sign.

Yeah, it's pretty sad. At the risk of sounding like a NAG, you don't see male singers having to do this in order to create buzz. Can you imagine, say, Alan Jackson wearing nothing but a hat, or Bono talking about how much he likes sex? And God help us if Keith Richards decides to pose nude!

Gad, I hope you're right. But I have my doubts. I've read interviews with her where she states that when she was younger and her career was being run by her father, she "felt like she was going insane".

I've also seen her in videos on MTV where she is wearing these very revealing outfits. Now there's nothing really wrong with that per sé, but it seems to me, an outside observer, that she is making a move to cross over or move away from her country music roots and is being led astray by those that are controlling her career these days.

This girl captured my heart the very second I heard her sing a cover of Patsy Cline's "Blue". She has amazing talent and doesn't need all these other trappings. I hope you're right and she keeps her head while she grows out of it.
