"Isn't funny how the boomer women fought against being looked at as sex objects ?
What's really funny is while they were saying that, they were burning their bras! I have always enjoyed a fine pair of 'headlights'.

Christina is probably being heavily influenced by her record label. They apparently think that they need to package (market) her this way to differentiate her from others. I think they're making a terrible mistake. If she didn't have the voice, maybe she needs all the fake packaging to have a chance. But she does have the voice. For heaven's sake, having the voice with no "edge" certainly hasn't hurt Celine Dion any.
I think just because Madonna has been so successful at selling records by reinventing herself so many times and by shocking people, others think they can do the same. Only thing is, Madonna actually had great songs too.
