You should have stuck with the very beneficial yogurt (without refined sugar of course)...I heard it prevents vanity posts too!

I was a disciple of Reverend Sun Myung Moon.

Not really; I just can't stand to be outdone.

Oh, if that's the game, then I was a member of Heaven's Gate.

Not part of the cult, mind you, but as part of their website programming staff.

I was paid in stock options.

That I should go to graduate school and get a PhD so that I could "help people". OR, and I am not sure which was worse, the "it is much better to have a big career than kids". Super big crocks, both of em.

I think I'll have to take 'global cooling' for $500, Alex. The survivalist notebook I started putting together back then is probably still in my parents' basement.

I once thought that deep down in their soul, leftists were decent people.

The second one is that I bought into what my screen name says.

Sea Monkeys. I really thought they'd grow up into little friends that I could recognize individually, and give names to...LOL

I tried to think of something that I "fell" for but I can't. I have never bought into any health craze, self improvement guru, money making schemes, UFO's, Ghosts, spirits, fortune tellers, "channelers"- (that guy on Sci Fci is a disgarce and a grifter), or cult. The only thing close would be when I wore gell in my hair during the late 80's and early 90's- but everyone was doing it then.

This isn't about me...but my BROTHER, a highly educated young man, was convinced that Paul (McCartney) was dead and tried so hard to get me and my family to believe it. Ahhhh...those were the days!

Well, Islam is about peace. That is, in the same sense that embalmers 'work with people'.

NOT JOKING: I participated in.....

"Hands Across America"

(...how embarassing......I was a "brains-of-mush" Democrat in those days--LOL)

And even more ridiculous, that camera-hogging WEASEL Geraldo Rivera showed up (in a limo--LOL) for 10 minutes to be a "celebrity hand-holder completing the chain" west of Phoenix.

The whole thing was so ridiculous........but we did it because we cared about the "millions who have lost their homes under the Reagan administration" LOL!

Mea culpa on that. I knew something was wrong when my mom dumped them down the sink, thinking I had left out a glass of drinking water.

You too?!!! I was sooo disappointed that not one of them held Neptune's trident or sported a crown. I don't think they even had webbed feet or were smiling!

"For richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, etc"
What a crock.
