The young man chose to make an issue of his lack of faith. In so doing he voluntarily separated himself from the organization. Unwilling to take the oath to do his duty to God and country he became unwilling to be a boy scout. Now he lacks the maturity to accept responsibility for his decisions. That's o.k., he's young and hopefully as he grows he will open up to the deeper lessons of this experience.
