We blocked its forthcoming last year, and I think we should do likewise this year.

**One would be to refuse delivery of ANY mail bearing such a stamp.**

Good idea!

**The core beliefs of both Catholics and Jews are consistent with individual liberty and Western culture.**

We agree on this!

I appreciate your point, I really do, but one spy for Israel is not comparable to wave after wave after wave of Islamic violence with a body count in the thousands.
How many have been American Muslims? A few here and there....no more significant than Pollard. American Muslims are who we're talking about here, with this stamp. Our own people.

You are living in a fantasy world. Except for a handful of brave souls, there has been no widespread, or even narrowly spread, condemnation of terrorism, much less Islamism, among Moslems in the U.S.
"American Muslims, who unequivocally condemned today terrorist attacks on our nation, call on you to alert fellow citizens to the fact that now is a time for all of us to stand together in the face of this heinous crime."

-September 11 letter to President Bush, signed by the leaders of the American Muslim Alliance, the American Muslim Council, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, the Muslim American Society, the Islamic Society of North America, the Islamic Circle of North America, the Muslim Alliance in North America, and American Muslims for Jerusalem. These groups represent most of the seven million Muslims in the United States.

A big part of the American ideal is judging people as individuals, not as members of groups.

In reality we must judge people by their associations, to do otherwise is foolhardy.

I also don't remember Catholics killing thousands of Americans yelling "For the Pope!"

No, but Germans did for the Kaiser and for Hitler, and the Japanese did so for the Emperor. There were millions of German and Japanese Americans, and virtually none of them sided with their home countries against their adopted nation. Folks come to America for a reason, and its usually because they believe they'll find a better life here, not because they hate us.

And Israel is our ally.

Yes. This week. And if the geopolitical situation changed and Israel were alligned with a different faction, what then? Do you really believe that American Jews would side against the United States? If so, you're living in la la land.

s for the Japanese, after Pearl Harbor, I think such questions were quite justified.

Why? Time and time again, throughout history, immigrant groups have sided with the United States against their home countries when hostilities commenced. Why didn't we inter Dwight David Eisenhower for possible German sympathies, instead of running a risk by putting him in the somewhat-sensitive position of Supreme Commander of Allied Forces?

Did you actually go to any of the Web sites of these organizations?

ALL of them - EVERY one - from the very first word, is about how the poor Moslems are put upon. ALL of them prominently feature support for the Palestinians even though every day it is harder and harder to find even one Palestinian not bloody in tooth and claw. NONE have anything to say about the most recent bus bombing. At best they "applaud" the arrests of the snipers and then IMMEDIATELY, without even waiting for the blood to dry, launch into why this is going to cause more discrimination against Moslems.

The Moslems are such idiots they can't even get it together to lie about their ideology for half a page of text. You couldn't find a more feckless group of bloodthirsty jackasses.

The 'DIE' stamp seems to show the collapse of the Twin Towers. Look at the two vertical strokes which represent the towers and the swirly strokes which respresent the smoke and falling concrete.

>What some of the anti-Muslims forget is that many and probably most American Muslims move here to get away from "Sharia" government.

Is that true? Then why the little Jenins and little Beruits in places like NJ and Mich? Why the convenience stores selling jihad tapes?

CAIR and AMC ARE the Wahabbist lobby. They are the one who praise the 9-11 attacks by saying we regret the loss of life, BUT....

Squeeze here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/793251/posts to find out what Moslems really think.

That picture of the fat ululating hag celebrating 9/11 is a lot closer to the truth than your fantasy.

The difficult truth is that Islam will have to be reduced to the status of a still-dangerous but minor cult like Scientology, Aum Shin Rikyo, or Christian Identity before the danger becomes managable.

Our own people, are they? Mm-hm. When they become Muslim Americans instead of American Muslims, then maybe we can talk.
