When I first read about this--I cared little. Segal is known as a very strange man--who fabricated storiest that he was involved with the CIA and other "high level sh%t" (his words).

But now I see that Pellicano a member of the Clinton Good Squad has been arrested.

Pellicano has a lot to say if he wanted to talk. He knows this, and his former "clients" know this.

I wonder if he will get a chance to use his "friends" to get out of some difficulty.

It is understood Cruise has told his lawyers to hire ace private eye Anthony Pellicano - nicknamed The Big Sleazy.

He gained fame as a take-no-prisoners dirt-digger for clients such as Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Sylvester Stallone, Priscilla Presley, James Woods and Roseanne Barr.

Pellicano once said of himself: "I always start out being a gentleman. I only use intimidation and fear when I absolutely have to."

The private eye assisted Mark Fuhrman, one of the police in the OJ Simpson murder case, to fight charges of racism.

In 1992, Pellicano bragged to GQ magazine that he had once beaten somebody with a baseball bat on behalf of a client.

When President Bill Clinton was being probed over his Whitewater dealings, his lawyers hired Pellicano to dig up dirt on Clinton's opponents.

From Reuters, 10/27/02: ....[A] federal magistrate in Los Angeles denied bail for Alexander Proctor because of his prior drug and burglary convictions and prosecutors' claim that he is a flight risk, Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Saunders said.

Proctor, 58, was arrested outside his West Los Angeles home earlier that day by a team of Los Angeles police and FBI organized crime agents. He was charged with a single charge of interfering with commerce by threats of violence, for allegedly trying to stop the Times and Busch from printing the stories.

If convicted he could receive up to 20 years in jail.

Didn't Seagal's ex-wife Kelly LeBrock of the movie "Weird Science" divorce him because he used her as a punching bag? I always wondered what his voice was like if he would drop the "whisper" level. In one of his movies (can't remember which one), only for a couple of syllables did he drop it and his voice sounded so like Michael Jackson high pitch that I ended up laughing so that I couldn't take the movie seriously after that.
