I lived outside the US for most of my adult life until about age 39. About half of that was in black or mulatto countries around the world. As I stated above, I come from a pro-civil rights family from Mississippi.

Anyhow after my divorce from a Brasilian of Lebanese Maronite parentage (just to dispel any Aryan murmurs from the do-gooder peanut gallery) and when my dad was dying, I came back to live in Nashville. I remember having dinner with a group of liberal yuppies I had known for years. I had more or less been out of tune with American culture but had noticed some changes upon coming back full time. I point blank asked them was I considered a racist by them if I preferred my progeny to marry within the confines of their rather broad ancestry? They all laughed and told me that of course not....that was not a benchmark to anyone.

LOL....well the fact that it is indeed quite a benchmark to many ...especially on this forum shows just how wrong they were....only 6 years ago.

I've found it gets easier to just let them slime you all they want. Challenge their argument rather than their slime. Whoever first said that whenever someone on this forum first resorts to calling someone a Nazi or Racist or Bigot it usually indicates they are out of ideas.
That's true on occasion. What I feel about what my 4 children do in this regard is not really anyone else's business. That's the bottom line.
