Thanks for posting this - quite enlightening.

"From his initial comments concerning 9/11 to the current NATO embarrassment, Mr. Chretien seems to have gone out of his way to offend Americans. And I must say he is quite good at it. We Americans have great affection, admiration and respect for our President. He represents us well. We do not take kindly to these insults from our best friends," wrote American reader John Deszyck.

I bet this guy's a freeper - he sure sounds like one.

You would think a guy whose name is often pronounced as "Cretin" would be a little more careful about referring to someone else as a "Moron."

Chretien is just another example of a Liberal Churl without any breeding hardly able to speak english and a prime example of a dying gene pool.
A great many canadiens owe their living and earnings to America.
For Shame.

I've said it before I will say it again, Canada would make a great cluster of states, as long as we dump the part east of Toronto. It would be good for Canada and good for the US.

It would simply help matters if all our home grown morons took their own angst and moved to Canada. Al Gore has political aspirations? He can pack his bags and apply for Canadian citizenship and run as the Liberal candidate for Prime Minister. He'd win in a landslide and get to do what's been eluding him all his life - running a country. Oh Canada!

Since all the morons you are referring to prefer a totalitarian state, having the northern part of canada as one of our states solves that problem. All the radical environmentalists, all the communists, leftists, socialists, abortionists, democrats, and any group not willing to live up to their oath of allegiance or agreeing with the Constitution of the United States of America, will be priveledged to live in the state of utopiatotalia formerly the Northwest Territories.

They can run it the way they want to with the exception of fishing, mining, hunting, logging, animal control, travel, air quality, environmental protection and forestry. It would be the non representative state in the Republic. They would send no one to Washington, since they in reality do not care what goes on in Washington. After all the people in Washington will be busy protecting the Constitution.

PS, the state of california would immediately become habitable again, following the implementaion of this program.

Thank you - I posted on another thread about the addition of some letters to disguise his real name of "cretin" but your post is much better.

Well if, Chretien and his Liberal regime don't like you you must've done a good thing(s)... After all, if Chretien knew anything he would'nt be a hard line Socialist, as are the majority of Canadians...

The odd thing is, given the asymetry of the US-Canada relationship there is only one country of any significance in Canadian foreign relations, several on a par with Canada to the US.

Cretin and his government are self-destructing. He could fall any day. In any case, Canada will have a new Prime Minister in 2003, bank on it.

I've had enough of M.Chretien. Thankyouverymuch. There is a "moron" in power in North America alright but it surely isn't George W Bush. Canada has the good fortune of being geographically blessed. Chretien can rest easy in the knowledge that the world's only super power is watching his back and that we're a peaceful, liberating nation not a conguering one. Furthermore, he has been free to fund and enact the failed policies of his government with nary a worry about having to allocate significant increases for his country's national defense. Has there ever been a nation so economically and militarily outmatched by a bordering neighbor or one with less reason for concern ? Monsieur Chretien is an unappreciative, ungracious boob and he is unfit to shine the boots of our "cowboy" president. May God continue to bless America and President Bush.

Many Canadians were embarrassed and angry about Chretien's dithering.

They elected him! They can impeach the moron if they are REALLY embarrassed. Until then, I say boycott Canada. THEY are the ones who reap benefits of the relationship between Canada and the US. I'm sick and tired of all the anti-American sentiment around the world, but when it's coming from our neighbors, it's time to can NAFTA and let Canada and Mexico make it without our "child support payments."

I've found Canadians on the whole to be very nice people. When I questioned how they could elect such complete idiots I reflected on Bill Clinton. Sadly, it may serve Canada to allow them to sink into the abyss in order to bring the populace back from the "dark path". In the long term we'd be helping the good and decent people there get their country back. Hey, we went through it and look at us now! No more freakazoid rat infested congress...

No, we can't impeach him .Our system is set up a little different. He is the leader of the Liberal party. If for example, if he dropped dead tomorrow , the Liberal party would elect another leader, another PM.. Not the people. Contrary to Buchanan twisting economic terms, the US does not "give" Canada a 50 billion dollar surplus. It's called a trade deficit, an American trade deficit.
