Thanks for posting this link. This is a very sick statement that was posted on that internet site re the killing of this young officer, husband and father:

McCrae's postings generated two responses from visitors to the site. One reader, named "jefe," wrote, "Well done. Send it to all the IMCs, media, outlets of communication and rage - wa-hoo."

This POS is like winning a lottery for some ACLU lawyer. We tax payers will pay over $1 million a year in legal fees for this POS. No wonder the ACLU lawyers support certain political factions in America.

FL_engineer, I just got off the phone with the RB Command Center. I gave them the URL for this thread and suggested that they look at your research, particularly at #100. Thanks for the post.

Roscoe, thanks for the links to the news articles. A picture is beginning to emerge on this dirtbag. More grist for the FR research mill .... :)

Gotta love some of the comments in reply to his screed: "After they fry you we'll p*ss on your grave!" was my personal favorite.

I looked elsewhere in the US to see where there might be other Andrew McCrae's of any age. After all his father, grandfather or maybe an uncle are good bets to have that name, and I found THREE:

[snipped]

Now looking up the area code for Statesboro, GA, and you will find...ta-da----(770)
So I predict that Andrew McCrae, the shooter, is from Statesboro, GA. The one listed above at age 47 is probably his father.

Wrong. It appears that the last name McCrae is an alias or affectation, and his military service at Ft Campbell was performed under the name Andrew H. Mickel, per Roscoe's post #118. Mickel's parents, Karen and Stan Mickel, reside in Springfield, Ohio.

That does not rule out the possibility of Georgia connections, but it does not appear to be connected to his Ohio parents.

I can only think of two individuals who I never met personally for whom I held that much distaste and contempt, both of whom are now deceased, and both of whose deaths I celebrated, and either of whom I'd have been glad to have helped into their graves.

Though I've also run across a few others nearly as deserving, including two child murderers and one probable serial killer, they were at least out of circulation or under sufficient scrutiny to prevent further depredations, as is Mickel/McRae now. And I've been in and around the military long enough that I don't care to stand in line to use a latrine again.

But it's to be wished that the spiteful posters replying to *Andy*s postings had gotten the details right. Even before California went to lethal injection for the state-mandated death penalty, they never used the electric chair, but rather the green-walled gas chamber at San Quentin. But that's not how I'd care to see it done if the method were to be left to me to see justice done.

I'd be proud to be your neighbor. I have done so privately but would like to commend you for your exemplary public service here. I hope that the creeps who perpetrated this crime are brought to justice. It looks to me like this guy was targetted because he was a "D.A.R.E." officer (if we are to believe the rant) or perhaps had stopped the perp on a prior occassion and had made an enemy.

I also hope that the FBI and other authorities will acknowledge what you've done. Unfortunately the FBI is loathe to give credit where credit is due. Private citizens are the most effective crime stoppers. That message needs to be broadcast far and wide.

I disagree. California already has a gas chamber, if disused. It was the use of cyanide gasses, as per those the Nazis used in the death camps, that was unsafe [to the executioners and prison staff, it's supposed to be unsafe to the condemned victim!] and which should have been upgraded.

The use of Nitrogen, an inexpensive and non-lethal gas that would present no risk to prison staff [our air is 78 percent nitrogen] or require special filtering or ventilation would do nicely; nearly ideal for the purpose. Though it won't support life and results in a few dozen industrial accidents annually when workers have entered confined spaces where it's displaced oxygen-bearing air, the deaths are not painful or horrific, as those from cyanide asphyxiation are. Those exposed to nitrogen gas overmixtures simply fall asleep without gasping or choking, as the body perceives no lack of breath, but as the oxygen content in the bloodstream dwindles, the brain shuts down system after system, eventually including respiration and cardiac activity, and finally brain function itself.

For those such as Mickel/McCrae who might not be deserving of such a restful end, it might be worthwhile to simply close the hatch and let him suffocate, using up his own air giving a final speech on his political views...which could then be erased, as he was. Alternately, leaving him in the sealed room for a loooong time while he starves should do it...and could be televised.

I'd think it much more fitting to just shoot him 3 times in the head, getting the same as officer Mobilo got. But remember, the constitution prohibits cruel and unusual punishments...it has to be one, or the other, but not both.

And, of course, if such methodology is carried out frequently, as on those at Guantanamo for ionstance, than it can't be said to be *unusual*....

I don't believe McCrae had a strong or long presence in Olympia...

It might be helpful to know where Andrew H. Mickel of the 101st Airborne at Ft. Campbell resided after he was discharged. He might well have had a buddy from the Pacific Northwest, a Ranger from the battalion at Ft Lewis, Washington perhaps, with interesting stories about the WTO protest demonstrations/riot in November of 1999.

Since the records for the Andrew Mickel at Ft Campbell indicate service from May 1998 until August 2001, it's not likely that he was there as a participant, unless perhaps he was on leave at the time. But service from May 1998 to May 2001 would indicate a 3-year enlistment; the extra 3 months from May 2001 to August 2001 may reflect *bad time* whil AWOL or otherwise absent, or some other personnel irregularity. Accordingly, possibly worth a look.

Excellent find here.

Yep, now that these guys appear to white trash, will the Feds swoop down on them?

When do you think the media will start using Andrew H. Mickel, instead of McCrae?

Probably once news stories of court activities and legal matters so identify him. Even the FBI had ID'd him as McCrae to the cops in NH, and of course that was the name connected to his website activities. -archy-/-

More on the McCrae/Mickel name usage *here*. It appears he's used both, but that his Army enlistment was under the name Mickel.

The mediots will probably start to use Andrew H.Mickel, when they decide to paint him as a whacked out military guy to throw the track of his current political ties.

Do you by chance mean those protesters who were clad in military type op clothes with face masks. The ones who didn't look and act like the usual stoned renta maggot mob?

Could have been. In addition to the National Guard personnel on standby, CNN reported 160 active-duty personnel, including Special Forces working with the FBI, and others, probably from nearby Ft. Lewis, WA, where the 2nd Ranger Batallion is stationed.

I could just see some GI pal telling McCrae war stories about setting up the protesters so the cops could beat them up....
