Nah--that is only a "post terror" palliative. How about a preventive measure? Target two each 1 megaton nuclear missiles on Mecca and Medina, and announce that ANY FURTHER TERRORIST ATTACKS on the US will result in the conversion of those two targets into very large, glass-lined, holes in the desert.

You have to remember, these imitation-human-beings are irrational; they don't think like humans do.
They would retaliate against the Vatican or the nearest orphanage.

I say target one square block in downtown of every Muslim capital...
Level them after the first trrorist act.

Level every "legislature" in every capital after the second terrorist act.

Level all the "presidential palaces" after the third.

If this is done systematically and without any discussion or hand-wringing... guaranteed positive results.
