.....more than two million private sector jobs have been lost, while our economic growth is the weakest it has been in 50 years. Does he mean GDP? If he does, that actually has kept pace quite nicely. If he doesn't, what does he mean by economic growth? And more importantly, what are his remedies?
It's no suprise the NY Times printed this article. It did not advocate an alternative, it was simply a hit piece on GWB. Contrast this with op-ed pieces from the "unbiased" ecomomists (ex. Krugman) who regurgitated DNC talking points during the Clinton years and you see yet again another example of liberal bias at the NYT.

Whenever I see the phrase ".....worst (fill in blank) in 50 years" I immediately disregard it, the person who said it, and everything else that person will ever say.

Yeah, to many jobs are going OVERSEAS to China, Mexico, Pakistan, etc.
