This group, or one similar, flys around Santa Clara (Silicon) valley about once a month. Pretty cool.
I just got to thinking that I haven't seen the C130's flying around in some time. I live about 60 miles from the main base and until a few months ago, just about dusk I would regularly see these gunships flying large slow circles around the house.
A cousin who is a pilot told me they were probably using a nearby church as a pivot point.
They also were prominent in several other missions including the catastrophe in Iran.
