Did Russert just catch Kerry in a lie when he denied stating that he had criticized Kissinger at the end of the Vietnam War for knowingly leaving POWs in country?
It sounded like it to me.

I also noticed that Munster listed national security LAST! Not only should we hold onto our wallets, we will have to run for the hills!
He's got a face made to order for a cartoonist!!! What a mess!

Yep, caught red-handed by the ever present quote from an old copy of the NY Times. He didn't even flinch.
After listening to his prescription for peace in the Middle East, I think Bush should call his bluff and send him over there as an envoy. Let's see who he thinks we're going to "negotiate" with on the PLA side....Yasser? Thank God Bush has the sense to compare Arafat to the Emperor with No Clothes. Kerry sounds dangerous.

Chris Matthews show was good. Andrea Mitchell, Bob Woodward, Mark ?? from Newsweek. Talking about Bob's book, the infighting between Powell, Cheyney & Rumsfeld. Newsweek guy says, bottom line, the guys in charge are all grown-ups.
Talking about Rummy being one of sexiest "People". Playing background music"I'm too sexy for my shirt..etc." LOL.
I like this Sunday show. Much more toned down that the weeknight show on MSNBC>

Anyone notice what beady little pig eyes Kerry has?? Way out of proportion to the rest of his face and "big hair".
Like I said, a cartoonist's dream subject!!

Great closing on Chris' show. Showing clips from Casablanca. Comparing Bush to Bogie. Says Bogie didn't want to get involved in war til the Nazi's talk about invading New York. Bogie says, There are certain neighborhoods in New York you might want to stay away from. LOL.
Says Bush says in his speech on Sept 15, Americans are peaceful people, but fierce when stirred to anger. Chris says, "Bush Gets It." I think Chris has a grudging respect for GWB. Good show, all the way around.

Kerry will need a handler/groomer, if he expects to get very far. During the Russert interview, partly into each answer, Kerry interrupted himself with, "Look...", and changed to a different topic. Slick? No. Obvious? Yes. Made it appear as if he were trying to sidestep the original question. Kerry's 6% will probably remain constant--maybe rise a couple of points--but I don't see him rising to the "serious consideration" level.

Kerry: "Over a 100 people have been released from death row in the last year based on DNA evidence that they weren't guilty".
Over a 100?!! I'd like to see the list...a huge exaggeration, I believe.

Well that splains why the Kerry's hired Chris Black to teach Theresa what to do and what to say. At least the original interview is on the record...tee hee.

Unlike National Public RadioI listen to NPR each morning from 5 till 7. NPR doesn't stand for National Public Radio, I'm sure it stands for National Palestinian Radio.
Fox is biased, but NPR, no bias there. (sarcasm, of course)

FOX QUOTES:
Krauthammer noted that he does not practice psychiatry on the air,
but the Democrats' behavior recently has been,
"the edge of looniness".
Tony Snow later remarked that,
".. decency and good remain our (American) taproot"
To: maica
Krauthammer has said all along that the fall of the Taliban is an underrated achievement in the West, but a sobering reality for vaccilating governments like Syria and Yemen.
I couldn't agree more. These people, like the Soviets, understand only one thing: power.

Ugggg, Kerry is now spinning on MTP that not following through with the Bush tax cuts is not a tax raise, but Bush freezing medicare spending is a cut.
Americans will see through this kind of liberal garbage. He does not have the guts to call it a tax increase. This is why he will lose in 2004.
The DNC is also trying out new BS liberal spin language. Kerry is using it. " Call everything security related." Kerry is pro-security Homeland Security, national Security, Medical Security, Economic Security, Educational Security....
Now Kerry is attacking Bush on educational spending while his co-Senator sponsored a huge educational bill in the Senate.
Kerry is also saying he is for universal healthcare.
Kerry still insists his false assumptions regarding his Iraq vote in 1990 were true.
Ketchupman is trying to outleft Gore obviously.
To: Alas Babylon!
Kerry on MTdP:
"No new tax cuts!" Apparently this includes the future cuts signed into "law" by the 107th Congress! Good luck in 2004 guys! Must be why dems are so in favor of Universal Healthcare: Cronic Self-inflicted GSW to the foot.
