But I'm surprised only because it happens before Gore announces he won't run. I would have thought Russert would stick to the game plan, but with Gore's book ranked in sales at #1,248, I guess delaying the inevitable didn't make much sense.

Algore will be running. Trust me. What else can he do? Plus he's BORED as hell with "normal" life. He will, of course, LOSE in 2004 but his political demise won't be pretty....but it will be funny!
