When was the last time you used netscape? I've found that Netscape, Mozilla, and their little brother Phoenix are all superiuor to IE.

With tabbed browsing, site-selective image, cookie, and popup blocking, instant access to font resizing, and other great features that are a part of the Mozilla codebase, it looks more to me like microsoft is sitting back and taking it easy.

Netscape/Mozilla is more secuire, more robust, and generally an all-around better product in every way. I guess some people don't mind annoying popups and similar stuff as much as I do.

Netscape isn't much of a player in the real world. Here is how it shapes up on visits to my website the last 3 weeks in October;

Browser Visits %
1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 7,920 85.81%
2. Netscape 501 5.42%
3. InternetSeer.com 375 4.06%
4. Other Netscape Compatible 218 2.36%
