OMBASA, Kenya - While publicly condemning Thursday's bombing of an Israeli-owned hotel, leaders in Mombasa's Muslim community also condemn the United States and Israel, which they say created the conditions for the attacks.

A strain of Islamic extremism has taken root in this East African city with strong historic links to Oman and Yemen, a suspected Al Qaeda haven. The growing extremism was evident shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center, when many Muslims cheered in the city's narrow streets.

Let's see, the muslim dogs blow up people around the world then bitch that it is the victims fault?
What are they going to do when they push to the point that
the rest of the world starts indiscriminatley targeting them?
I can't believe that your basic Israeli on the street hasn't taken to just blowing up anything that is Palestinian.
I can't believe that here in America when an American comes across a Saudi that they don't kick the snot out of them.

''I'm not supporting the bombing only because local people died,'' said Abdul Said, 22, a computer science student at a nearby technical college. ''I'm not sorry for the Israelis who died. Why should I?''

Why do I immediately jump to the conclusion that this is a not-unrepresentative member of the Religion of Peace. He's just willing to say it for attribution.

Anyone catch Jim Maceda's report on Imus this morning? Imus asked Maceda if the almost simultaneous attacks in Israel and Kenya meant that the Palestinians and al Qaeda were working together. Maceda replied that only a few "extreme right-wing" people in Israel and the US thought that the PLO and al Qaeda were working together, and that the attacks coming so closely together was a co-inkydink.

Everyone, especially the extreme right-wing types, feel better now?

No doubt it was all the fault of those extreme right-wingers Maceda was talking about...

Yes I caught that report.... guess that puts us 'extreme right-wingers' ahead of most everyone else. Why was he (Maceda) so quick and so vehement in denying that any link could exist?

Further, what does it matter - a terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist.

Imagine if they had gotten luck and brought down that airliner? Over two hundred fifty passengers on board.

Oh, I can tell you why it matters to Maceda and his PLO-loving ilk. They all know that if Americans who sympathise with the Palestinians find out that the Palestinians have allied themselves with al Qaeda, then there won't be enough anti-Semitism on the planet to save the Palestinians from their own murderous stupidiy.

Fueling the resentment among many Muslims in the vicinity of the Paradise Hotel and a possible motive for its bombing is that the seaside resort fostered a brisk sex trade, according to many residents. Middle-aged Israeli men partied until late in the evening and often paid for sex with young Kenyan women, many of whom were Muslim, said a waitress at the Calipso Bar, across the street from the charred remains of the hotel.

So, it's okay three Israelis were killed and a shame two hundred fifty more weren't? And those good young Kenyan Moslem women are still free to ply their trade, though probably at reduced prices (Moslem whores, who'da thunk it?). This whole thing would never have happened if the local Moslem leaders had taken proper action and beheaded these Nubians according to their own law.

Bastards!

The fanatics' fellow Muslims should read Animal Farm. Evidently it hasn't occurred to them that, as far as the fanatics are concerned, some Muslims are more equal than others...
