The two Kuwaiti boats collided after the Iraqi boat fired on them. That must have been quite a sight!

The water appears barely knee-deep up in that area.

Bump!! The Iraqis got caught with their hand in the cookie jar today (they were spotted moving serial-numbered rocket parts out the back door of a facility). So when are we going to hit these scumdogs?

In Japanese they're called "Subaru".

Baghdad is 66º today, so either the palace inspection was early in the morning or the inspectors carrying more bugs than usual.

In the space of about 3 minutes this morning on NPR, I must have heard 5-6 times how the delay at the Palace was only minor. Not once did they say it was a 15 minute delay so you could decide for yourself whether it was "minor".

Thanks for the ping Dio - you've been a very busy FReeper here over the last week or so. Which kinda reminds me of some other times when you've been busy like this: During the runup to Afghanistan, or when the IDF rolled back into the Pali areas, well you know what I mean.

It's almost a benchmark. When Dio gets really busy, it means that big things are going to happen. Some keep an eye on pizza deliveries to the Pentagon, all we have to do is watch what you post and we can see it coming. It's about damned time for Saddam and some others to get their final awards for their actions over there - thanks for the wonderful photos and comments - but mostly thanks for letting us know that action is right around the corner. It was getting a little frustrating watching the UN fools.

Keep up the excellent job, Dio - you're a fixture here at FR that a lot of us depend on.

Yes, the "inspections" are a joke. A sick and sad one. The punchline, however, lies in W and the administration knowing more than we now know. They will share it--when the time is right and it is time to remove the vermin Saddam. Continuing heartfelt thanks for these wonderful photographic tours Diogenesis......
