But you didn't answer my question. Is killing an animal the same as killing a human? Is causing suffering to an ant, for example, the same as causing suffering to a 3 yr old child?

Well then, that settles it, we will just stop all that AIDs research that uses animals. We just don't need to find a cure for AIDs, that badly anyway. I mean, who really cares about those people when all those monkeys might have to suffer?
