The vaccine can be given to those infected and it will mitigate the severity of the infection for most. Don't shoot anybody yet.

I am one of the people that can infect multiple people, and as such, I take responsibility for that.

That is why I do get vaccinated for multiple diseases as often as possible.

It has also taught me difficult lessons about personal responsibility, and what to do when confronted with horrible choices.

But yes, if I was forced to take a life (to include my own) to save hundreds of others, I would not flinch. The correct answer is obvious.

While my father was the director of immunization at CDC, he had one heck of a battle with the Amish. Today, the Amish have accepted immunization as something needed for the common good.
