The war is not over until the House of Saud falls.

First Iraq, then Iran will follow from internal revolt. They will both need to sell lots of oil. So in a roundabout way, the fumigation of Iraq is a strategic means of stopping terrorism financing by the Saudis (not to mention the lesser contributions by Iraq and Iran themselves). The Saudis will have lost their extortionate stranglehold on Mideast policy.

Iraq is a center that cannot hold. When it goes down, the entire Middle East will be destabilized, but in a favorable way.

That'll bring about the destruction of the fundamentalist pigs and their financiers, and if we're lucky the PA, Hamas and the Kashmir terrorists as well. One year from now, we'll be treating the Saudis like the spoiled little brats which they are.

I'm still wondering who's going to clean out the rathole of Pakistan.

That is the program, and I'm all for it.

Pakistan may go sideways for another decade. I don't see how that domino falls. Jihadis with Nukes do tend to concentrate the mind, so one hopes a strategy will appear in about 18 months.
