JAKARTA - Explosions ripped through a McDonald's restaurant and a car dealership in eastern Indonesia last night, leaving three people dead and others injured.

Police in the South Sulawesi provincial capital of Makassar said the first blast ripped through a McDonald's outlet in a shopping centre at around 8 pm.
