Your recollections of '96 race match mine. And I agree with your comments on the changes in voting procedures. Both should help. But, if Terrell does win, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dems claiming voting irregularities in an attempt to minimize the loss and fire up the base for the next election.

There were some articles in the Advocate right after the last election about the new voting machines being used in Livingston parish and, I think, Tangipahoa. The elections clerks (Dems) were complaining about the problems they had with the machines and how nobody asked their input on the purchase. I thought this was going to be the last-ditch attack tactic, but instead the bogus campaign ads about the political contributions appeared. This week (though they claim the timing wasn't political), 13 of the parish clerks sent a letter complaining about the new machines and cuts to their budgets, lack of training, etc.

Looks like she's got her own "crusty".

Those rat women are pathetic aren't they? They all want to look like Hillary. Old crusty suit, bleach-blonde hair, the broach. Same with our new rat governor-elect Granholm.

I think you're right. Is it just me or do you think Landrieu has the look of a loser ? She seems to know she is defeated.

She seems raggedy, but maybe that's just Ole Crusty. Terrell looked nice on TV today and much better than she had during the debates - she seemed relaxed and confident.

Why are the dead buried above ground in New Orleans? So it can be easier for them to vote.

The Dems in Jersey did resurrect Lautinberg(sic) from the dead to win a Senate seat, so you never know. One thing that is for certain is Huey Long will cast his vote Saturday and guess who it will be for. I can the LA Dems' new commericals and bitches: The Republicans want to disenfrancise the dead.

She just looks really tired to me. I think she looks like she knows she's lost.

Wow! Looks like you're up to speed on this Hitlery clone. I was aware of "Landrieu’s ‘Voting Record Is Certainly Pro-Abortion," news, but had never heard anything about sugar. Thanks for your posting. Good luck to you and your state this weekend!

Well, see if you can make sure they don't carry out their dead this weekend! : )

This is my first time starting a thread. Please be gentle.

I tried to find a mistake. I really tried. Your post is flawless, and for a first post, that is rare. I'll get you next time.

One problem. Nobody showed up! The WWL camera panned the floor of the auditorium and there were maybe 5 people there LOL.

I saw the same thing, nolasw0ady. I'll have to watch the 10 o'clock news to see if anyone ever showed up. However, the Landrieu rally really looked lonely at 6 PM. By the way, nolaw0ady, congratulations on your first post. You did a great job!

I should point out that when the news came on at 6 PM, I was taking a dinner break from our "72-hour blitz" campaigning by the Republican National Committee. They are very well organized and have a great voter database to work with.

Tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, Patriot1, Mr. Patriot1, and I are each supervising a team of four doing door-to-door get-out-the-vote work, targeting previously-identified voters.

Earlier today, we went to an event that was supposed to have featured Lynn Cheney and Mary Matalyn. However, the dynamic duo was stranded in DC due to a snow storm. Although we were disappointed by their absence, our spirits were not dampened in the least, as we cheered on an appearance by our great conservative, pro-life, pro-taxcut, pro-second-amendment, and pro-Bush-agenda candidate, Suzie Terrell. By the way, at the Terrell event we ran into FReeper omegatoo, who has been volunteering at the Terrell campaign headquarters.

We were so energized after Suzie left to continue her "Trucking with Terrell" tour, that we went back to our get-out-the-vote telephoning with renewed vigor. I can feel the energy building in the campaign after the visit to Louisiana by our great President, George Bush, this past Tuesday. We know we have to get out the vote in Jefferson Parish in significant numbers, and we CAN DO IT! On the victory!

...campaign workers expecting 1,500 to 2,000 folks cheering on Mary...

A few more people came in after the 6 PM news, and the 10 PM news just said that Mary was cheered on by "hundreds" of supporters. Hope this sorry event is an indication of the lack of enthusiasm in lying, liberal Mary's campaign.

I saw that report, too. Though you couldn't tell from the camera shots, they must have been sorely disappointed at the turnout.

Thanks to you, and M/M Patriot1 and Omegatoo for all the hard work.
