The lad is innocent - FReepers, when you pick up a hitchhiker, be sure to check your ashtrays after you let him off.

I've had that problem before. A guy I gave a ride to once left a Volkswagen in my ashtray.

hehehe... he figured the cops would never catch him and he would get a cool $200,000 cash somewhere. We have 'nother Darwin Alert loser candidate here.

Burek was not certain how the arresting officer discovered the marijuana or how it was packaged. With 87 pounds worth of dope it probably didn't require much in way of detective skills.

It sounds as if the coach called him the right name for the wrong reason. He was just a little ahead of the game.

The trunk was probably filled to bursting. I'm surprised it didn't overflow when the cop sprang the latch and looked at what was inside the football player's car.

Not likely. A pound of mexican pot on the border in bulk quantity would run about 300 bucks. His gross couldn't have been anywhere over $30,000. Stupid, stupid man.
To: Cicero
<Chuckle... let's put it this way... there's no touchdown and no dance in the end zone from this fellow and no wonder the coach was uttering some choice profanities. Its not every day a member of your team fouls out.
To: NorCoGOP
What an IDIOT! You're carrying 87 pounds of weed and you speed???
To: NorCoGOP
Missing a block makes him a disgace to his family, but being a pothead doen not. Nice priorites there, Coach!/sarcasm off

What a way to wreck a career. Sad.
This kid , 22, is gonna do more time then BAM and old Cowboy LB Henderson.

Wanna bet? I'll wager a dollar he get's no more than community service.

87 lbs. for Cheech & Chong would only be a misdomeanor..personal use, you know.
A speeding violation is not probable cause for a vehicle search....unless the yahoo gave the cop an ok after being asked.
Should be interesting to find out more about this.

Yeah, I was going to say "and to think, the coach called him a disgrace to his family...".
To: Axenolith
No doubt. Cruise control at the legal limit would have been the best choice. Lots of really bad choices made here, the least of which was not staying under the speed limit.

An 87 lb. blunt. Who wudda thunk it?
