This is classic.

In 1960 or so, while exhibiting at the Kankakee Co.,Ill. fair, we matched or beat this, imho. It was an August Sunday afternoon---the time when all the 'city slickers' would go from church to the County fair to see all the animals. Families walked up and down all the aisles of all the barns filled with all breeds of farm animals. I stuffed a pair of blue jeans with straw, and added boots. We waited for one of of our Holstein dairy cows to lie down and quickly stuffed the dummy underneath. It looked exactly like the upper 1/2 of this poor soul was being squished to death! We bent his leg to add realism.

The crowning touch though was the cow's tail. She sat on it, and in the process of swatting flies caused the dummies leg squirm as if he was trying to escape!

It was a perfect scam, especially moving leg. We caused 3 heart attacks and 7 strokes that afternoon, I think./scarcasm. What fond boyhood memories from that day.

I want to personally wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and thank you for reminding me of my misspent youth.

And by the way...I graduated from high school in 1968. Our senior class was directly responsible for several changes in zoning laws, drug enforcement policies and speeding laws in the borough. Sometime, over a few beers, we'll talk about the dead...
