It helps to recall the mental picture of Americans plunging to their depths rather than burning on 9/11/01. That erased the tiny bit of empathy I had for those tiny hotspots on the video running for their lives. Eff them. My compliments to our dedicated, professional, and all-volunteer AC-130 air crew.

Those little white ants getting exterminated were jumping up and down with glee on 9/11/01. Some of them knew about the terrorist attacks before they happened. The had Osama telling them how they were untouchable in their Afghan hideaway. You are seeing them at the instant of recognition that the whole thing has gone horribly wrong.
