Are ya up yet huh???? I just worked double shifts and six days straight and came home from a stressful night (last night-right?) to this thread. THANK-YOU ALL!!!! I am off today and I have my TV on waiting for Mudboy and FreeTheHostages to break into FOX NEWS and announce the winner and 48 finalists!!!

Do we all get cook books huh huh? Do the finalists get to go on FR's next cruise for free? Do we get to appear on Katie Couric in da mornin if we be the losers and say it is vast right wing conspiracy they did not pick me?

I left Montreal on Route 20 heading toward Quebec City when I decided to stop at a comfort station. The first toilet stall was occupied, so I went into the second one.

I was no sooner seated than I heard a voice from the next stall. "Hi, how are you doing?" Well, I am not the type to chat with strangers in highway comfort stations and I really don't know quite what possessed me, but anyway, I answered, a little embarrassed. "Not bad." And the stranger said, "And where are you off to?" Talk about your dumb question! I was really beginning to think this was too weird, so I said: "Well, just like you, I'm driving East."

Then I heard the stranger all upset say, "Look, I'll call your right back, there is some idiot in the next stall answering all the questions I'm asking you. "Bye!"

As much fun as Tara's rampage has been in the 400s series, the only one that's gingerbreadhousy is that one little single jobber number which, combined with the free breakfast for you, and the general high-spirited of Tara's single-handed hijacking of the 400 series of this post, might get TaraBoom finalist status, but for the unfortunate posting of the photo of Monica Lewinsky. Sigh -- somethings just *aren't* funny.

Tara was good, but I think the top of our finalist is still better.

Let's focus on the finalist list and any additions you want to add to it.

(For the record, I think 445 is the best of TaRa's entry. I like the whimsy of "gingerbread baby" and I love the childlike simplicity of the house and I might add Tara!)
