I don't know where else to announce this, not sure it's worthy yet of a "vanity," but here in Washington, The State, Rose Strong is announcing her candidacy TODAY for head of the Washington State Republican Party - she's a black woman, who also happens to be mother of a Seahawk player. I could not find anything on her yet, on the internet, but I'm sure the battle lines will be drawn, and the press peeping in on this soon.
