He looks like the old store owner on the British sitcom that always has the lovely nurses around, kind of like Benny Hill's dad..

He is almost as old as my grandparents would be if they were still living. They would all be in their 100s now. All born in 1890s I think. My dad would be 83 now. I have one living aunt who is 87!!!!! and full of energy and life, lives alone, travels all the time. [I hope I inherited some of her vigor]
