Can't make heads or tails of it. That's French to English, not French to 'merkin.

(Love it. Peau de balle sod-all, damn-all. I'll forgive their omission of ****-all and bugger-all).

It's usually quicker for me to go here than reach for the bookshelf, even if it does translate from French to the Queen's English ;)

bullet; ~ plastique/traçante plastic/tracer bullet; ~ de fusil = rifle bullet

Not looking anything up (late, tired) but "fusil" is a pistol, not a rifle.

This is the Queen's English - they don't have pistols over there, but they are still vaguely familiar with long guns ;)

There was an expensive restaurant in Manhattan a few years ago called "Coup de Fusil". It was a jokey name since a "shot in the head" was what you got when you were handed the bill.

Mr. Adwan moreover indicated that Zarkaoui had tried "to forward to its two accomplices to Jordan of the rockets to use them in terrorist operations".

I assume "rockets" most likely refers to some form of shoulder-fired missle. I wonder which country they were coming from? There sure are a lot of candidates.

I don't recognize the guy on the left but I am sure of the guy on the right...Paul Wellstone.

I knew that whole memorial thing was phony, now I know why.
