Many people are not fit to lead, this author is one. Sadly, Trent Lott is another. Racism is simply not acceptable in a national leader. His oath to the constitution requires him to treat all Americans as equal under the law. He has failed his oath.
If we cannot find Lott unworthy of a leadership position who would be unworthy? It's up to his constituents to decide if he belongs in the senate.
