I can walk to much of what I absolutely need to do for work. It will make playtime a little more difficult, but I'm happy to be inconvenienced for a few days if it helps break this idiotic union. Bring it on.

Time for Roger Toussaint to pull out the RACE Card, after all Mayor Bloomberg is a Republician.

If the TWU strikes, Mayor Mike should immediately announce that there are 34,000 jobs available at the Transit Authority.

How do you plan to get around if there's a strike? I won't be going to work, that's for sure. I live over 20 miles from my job in Manhattan, work nights, and normally drive to work. Bloomberg's stupid 4 to a car carpool rule will keep me at home.

A'ight. Here it goes:
Plan A: See how much the temporarily deregulated Jitney guys on 86th Street in Brooklyn plan to charge to take me to midtown.
Plan B: Take a (non-MTA) shuttle bus to the 59th Street pier by the Brooklyn Army Terminal. From Pier 11 in the Financial district, I understand I can get a free shuttle bus to take me to the west side.

"Mayor Bloomberg should shut up!" For once I agree with with Toussaint re: Bicycle Boy Blunderberg.
