No, no and no. It's not jealousy, or arrogance. The USA as a nation has a very agressive and abrasive personality that is unapealling to us easy-going Canadians. It's like the mid-west doesn't want to be part of New York City, or freepers not wanting to move to California. There is a very real personality conflict between the USA and Canada that has NOTHING to do with politics.
