Female teacher says sex with boy, 10, was consensual

I'll give this miserable teacher credit for one thing.

We had a female teacher (not bad looking either) of late 20s-early 30-ish
carry on with a young teen male student. She even took him to Las Vegas where she was
arrested and the boy returned to his parents in California.

I thought the cruelest thing that the lady teacher did was first to say
"There was no sexual affair between me and my student".

I thought...now there is a way to finally nail shut the coffin on that boy's self-esteem.

Later, the teacher did admit there was sexual activity...and lots of it.
(I couldn't help wondering if the DA cut a deal and said "for criminies' sake,
you can't give the boy the reputation of some eunuch!".)

I don't mean to make light of these sort of situation...they are sad events.

This is NO different from what members of the clergy have argued "our boy lovers consented." What a joke!
