How about not giving out heart transplants, cable TV, college degrees. How about making really dark miserable dungeons with one bowl of swill per day for anyone who rapes a fellow inmate. For the murderers, rapists, robbers, arsonists, yes. Make them do hard time, and let the pot smokers go. That's how we'll save money.
I agree. Weed should not get a prison sentence and it is doubtful if it should be illegal in the first place. I change my mind everytime I think about it.
