They are already paying into social security, on the fraudulent SSN's they use to get jobs. They just can't take the money out.
So, making them legal will only make them eligible for more of our money.
WEll I agree on the UNearned income credit. But as for their paying all those taxes on their fraudulent numbers - most of these people work on a 'contract' basis. In other words, they are given a 1099 at the end of the year showing their earnings and they are responsible for paying both income and SS tax. So all these a stories being floated that they have paid in billions of dollars in SS taxes that can't be recovered is just falsehoods. No taxes have been paid on those numbers - they just flashed it - got the jobs and never file those 1099 and never pay those taxes. Some may do so - but not to the extent some (I suspect government planted) stories have suggested.
