My Dad use to tell me that his relatives from Ohio were always jealous of where he lived in Cal 50 years ago. It was a joking back and forth thing, be it was obvious to him. Especially come the fall and winter months.
California is a huge state, the crown Jewel of this great country.
Where else in this country can you finde some areas that resemble the great deserts of the Australian outback?
Others look like the rain forest of South America, still others appear like the great Swiss Alps.
Other areas with towering peaks that reach almost 15,000 feet above sea level, the highest point in the continental US, to the lowest point in the U.S. where Death Valley Scotty built a castle in the desert, something out of a dream.
While still others appear like the beaches of Hawaii, and other areas with the tallest trees in the world, and other areas that are right out of Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer.
Only about 5 regions on earth with the same climatic conditons.
This country is filled with beautiful areas, as I have been to your state and about 42 others including 6 different countries. California just happens to be my favorite place on earth. As you can see, I am biased, It's my state and I am very proud to be here.

California has always served as a conduit into America for perversion, left wing ideology and treason. You're either a child ("My dad says......") or stoned.
California is a cancer to America; a blight on civiled man.
I, too, live in California and am duly impressed by the weather and recreational facilities. But the moral and political situation in this accursed state are at crisis proportions.
And it's no wonder, if CA's "conservatives" like you choose to hide your heads in the clouds and pretend all is well.
