I never wanted Lott to be ML. But I damn sure didn't want the Democrats to be the one to push him out. This is a victory for them and we allowed the witch hunt to begin. Lott will not be the only Republican to fall.

Let them try....but I don't think they will. If they do, the pubbies will have the knives sharpened for Byrd.

He may be the only one to fall in the near future, but rest assured there will be plenty that will be wounded as time goes forward. You don't let the opposition do this to you and not expect them to continue when they are as successful as they were this time. JMO

I never wanted Lott to be ML. But I damn sure didn't want the Democrats to be the one to push him out. Same here. However, he created the mess and didn't handle the "damage control" correctly. I'm not particularly happy about how anyone handled this, the White House included, but such is politics.
I just hope we don't have a huge fight on our hands for the ML position. I hate seeing the GOP split like this, just after having won a spectacular victory on November 5th. What a shame.

The victory for the rats occured when the GOP elected Lott. Since then it was only a matter of time the idiot screwed himself. The surprise is he did it so quickly.

The liberal establishment will never cease to use the race card, as long as they know, it will be advantageous to their overall political agenda. That means, if it hurts conservatives and Republicans with minority voters, liberals will employ these gutter tactics, over and over, again and again.

I believe that the Democrats are going to have the meaning of the phrase "be careful what you wish for, you might get it" underscored for them over the next year.
By summer they are going to regret Lott's passage.
