Let us all send our thanks and appreciation to Mr. Lott for this selfless move. It was a hard decision, but one which I believe was in the best interests of the Party and the Country.

Now lets get a ML without all this baggage and get on with moving the country in the RIGHT direction.

Good move on his part. The Dems shot themselves in the foot with this one. They already overplayed it, but now they have given us an excellent Maj. Leader who, I think, will be MUCH more effective than Lott ever was.
