Clinton Says Lott Remarks Show Gop's 'Strategy'
Seamax News ^ | 12/20/02 | Stephen Onorio

Stephen Dinan reports in the Washington Times (12/19/2002) that Bill Clinton accused Lott of intentionally targeting white voters in his remark about Strom Thurmond.

Mr. Clinton told CNN outside a business luncheon that, "He just embarrassed them by saying in Washington what they do on the back roads every day." He believes that the apparent reason that the many Republican senators are angry is because Lott now has exposed their 'strategies.'

Clinton added, "They try to suppress black voting, they ran on the Confederate flag in Georgia and South Carolina, and from top to bottom the Republicans supported it." (What did Governor Bill Clinton do about the confederate flag that flew above the Arkansas statehose during his entire tenure as Governor?)

Marc Racicot shot back that Clinton "should know better." Racicot also stated that this was just another attempt by Clinton to try and mislead the American public to give himself a step up on the political ladder.

Racicot also stated that Bush is dedicated to improving the lives of minorites through education and home ownership policies.

This is rather funny. Clinton has deliberately pandered to racial minorities by lies and gross distortions of other people's motives. This is more of the same. Here he is suggesting that it is wrong for Conservatives to appeal to Whites--obviously hypocritical, to say the least--while using that very suggestion to continue his usual effort to frighten non-Whites by preaching the politics of distrust and antagonism.

All Lott was doing was praising a Senator who was always as straight forward in his pursuits, as Clinton has always been devious in his. The pity with Lott is that he panicked before the contrived hue and cry. The pity with Clinton is that he will say absolutely anything, at anytime, with no compunction whatsoever as to its truth or falsity, or who else it may injure.

Is anyone else as sick as I am of hearing from this asshole?...I never want to read anything he says again...but I'm drawn to it like looking at a mangled car wreck, bending my neck to see, but not really wanting to.

Anyone else feel like that?...Tell me. I really don't want to go postal at this time of year...the post office is already very busy.

Mery Christmas my friends!

Actually Trent Lott gave the dims a strategy...you know the left always tips their hand when they accuse the pubbies of doing something that they are actually doing.

Our first black prez is just trying to keep from losing any of the minority votes in the next election, thus the democrat campaign strategy for the DNC in 04...Hillary, is on her way!

I agree. I think the Democrats are loosing their base and the Clinton's know it. They are in a panic and they feel the only way to keep it together is say that we are minority haters. I don't think it will wash amongst those that are educated. The Clinton's would rather have there followers uneducated. They had the worst record of all the states while they were governor (notice I say they)of Arkansas. What did they do while they (again) were president. They talked alot but did nothing.

This is exactly why the democrats want to trap black kids in inferior schools. If they can keep them ignorant they can get them to believe anything. It is truely sick.

You are not alone. Excerpts from: President Passes Gas, Film At 11:00

"Despite the passing of nine months since President Bush took office, we are still treated to almost daily updates on the life of former President Bill Clinton. With near orgasmic pleasure, the Mainstream Media reports his activities in excruciating detail, engaging in a form of political necrophilia as they fawn over the corpse of a now dead and gone Administration. They litter the news with pop polls comparing a powerless former leader to the current President, as if the former still actually had any clout. They prop up as laudable an impeached, disbarred, scandalous miscreant whose legacy consists of selling access, selling pardons, selling technology to known proliferators, and, of course, being a great Stain Maker, but continually question the integrity of a man who has consistently remained true to his campaign promises. If former President Clinton were to pass gas, no doubt it would make the 11:00 p.m. news cycle; yet Heaven forbid the television networks interrupt their regularly scheduled programming for an important speech by the current President on the state of the War on Terrorism.

Despite the legendary monstrosity that took place on September 11, 2001, with thousands still unaccounted for and buildings still smoldering, pundits first condemn the President for acting too hastily, then condemn the President for not acting swiftly enough, and some condemn the President for acting at all. Were these folks born yesterday? Are they completely oblivious to the 20 years of terrorism we have faced, the logistical problems we are encountering, and the continued threat these creatures pose to our country?

Despite the well documented brutalities of the Taliban, where women are stripped of any humanity, girls undergo horrific sexual mutilation, mothers rushing their ailing children to the doctor are shot in the streets for being outside of their homes unaccompanied, men who don’t comply with any number of ridiculous dictates are crucified, tortured, or murdered outright, pundits still claim that we need to "understand" the terrorists. What’s to "understand," other than these vile creatures are some of the most despicable wastes of flesh ever to walk the earth, that they pose a grave threat to the United States which must be eliminated, and that millions of Afghans are praying for liberation from their suffering? We’re supposed to patiently "understand" barbarism of this magnitude, but whip ourselves into a wild frenzy over a frivolous joke about pubic hair on a can of soda.

Fascinating."

***There's more, but this is the heart of the article.

Bill, direct your complaint to Fritz Hollings, he's the one who raised to Confederate Flag over South Carolina.
