""Reality bites," Austin said in an interview."
Spoken like a true blue communist gun grabber. Who bites whom will be the ultimate question...

"I'm never going to register." Methinks there is the smell of revolution in the air.

If the state of Maryland or the Federal Govt. comes around wanting me to register my handguns they have all been stolen or sold. I'll decide which one soon...

The protest will feature an effigy of Prime Minister Jean Chretien pouring monopoly money down a toilet. At least that toilet will use more than 1.6 gallons per flush.

"Reality bites," Austin said in an interview. Here's the reality, gummint butt-boy: You'll be out of a job in 2004, if not much much sooner. Cretin is just one more screwup from a government collapse.

God Bless those real Canadians who stand against the tyranny of the communists.

Are you all familiar with Free Dominion, a Canadian forum along the lines of FR? Didn't see a link on FR homepage and couldn't get a response at freedominion.com.
I'd like to hear they're take on this too.

The Canadian Defense Force is in such bad shape there is no doubt private individuals are sufficiently armed to put them under.
All at once Canada could become a very big problem for the US as a consequence of this illconsidered gun registration nonsense.
When we are finally forced to annex the place, one would hope Bush as the testicular fortitude to round up the MPs most responsible and depart them back to their home countries.

Bump. What a crazy next year it might be.

Does anybody know if it would violate any federal statue if a certain group of people in America decided to "register" weapons via the free website?
Like millions of weapons?
It would not be hard to search the web, and "find" an address somewhere in Ontario, or Quebec, or Nova Scotia...or New Fundland, or the territories, or, or, or...
Our brothers up there need us. It would overwhelm this system in 3 months.
Just a thought...anybody know any fed legal eagles here?
He, he, heee....

It is time for the politics of joining the USA. The Great White socialists will have a hell of a ride and Americans won't need to bait.

In just the last week, said David Austin, special communications adviser for the centre, about 200,000 more guns were registered, bringing the total to about 5.5 million. "Reality bites," Austin said in an interview. "So here's reality. Ninety per cent of the firearms owners in this country have licences. Seventy per cent have registration certificates already."
Jim Hill, a 53-year-old former Mountie, said he objects strongly to the licensing and registration systems, but will send in his forms anyway.
Wow. This article makes Canada out to be a pitiful nation of pathetic wimps. Is it really that bad, or is this just a liberal scumbag newspaper trying to nudge the relucants into registering?

If police were to stop Muir while he's carrying one of his rifles on a deer-hunting expedition and request his licence, he knows the possible penalties.Ah, but does the police know the penalties of trying to confront an armed SOON-TO-BE-FELON?
