Hillary waits, wetting her pants in the wings. Yup. Hillary has to have a tightly scripted, carefully controlled campaign. Otherwise, the mirror would crack. She controlled the NY press, but I don't know if she could do it on a national basis. Hillary's best bet is for an unfortunate accident to befall the Democratic nominee late in the campaign and for her to be proclaimed the saviour of the party at the last moment. Any bets on what sort of an unfortunate accident the Democratic party nominee for 2004 might encounter?

She will wait. HRC can have the VP spot... no contest
All depends on how bad Kerry an Edwards stack up against Bush.
If the bitch see's daylight, it's off to the races!

It would have to involve extreme victimhood. Also the Clintons love 2fers. How about the candidate (and, if necessary, the VP candidate) gets Arkancided in a "terrorist" attack of some kind. Then she can step in to save the Rat party and the country and use the "obvious lapse in security" as a campaign theme--possibly even hinting that the current administration knew about and allowed the security breach...
