The article says the legislation requires proof, but the DMV claims they're not required to ask for it! Technically, if the DMV isn't in violation of the law, they're in violation of the spirit of the law. Newly-elected Sen. Jay O'Brien wants to take it further. Tougher restrictions died in the Senate last year so hopefully with his leadership this session, tougher restrictions will pass.

More restrictive government regulations for the majority of us law-abiding citizens thanks to a handful of criminals who abuse the system.

Ridiculous State BureaucRATese...that DMV Commissioner deserves to be keel-hauled!!

I wish Senator O'Brien all the luck in the World and VA FReepers can help out with any uproar we need to create to make his legislation a reality!!
