That makes sense. The leftists treat them soft, give them more rights than their victims, give them endless chances to reform, reward them if they can fake any sign of progress toward reforming, and work hard to disarm the criminals' future victims. The leftists are just as criminal as the muggers and murderers that they stick up for.
