You hit the nail on the head. Clinton was always about style, never about substance. It seemed most of the time that he was playing the role of president on a bad television show.

As for Stephanopoulus: It is so obvious that he is still a shill for the Democrats, the network should be embarrassed to put him forth as a supposedly objective host.

I watched just one program after he took over the top job. He interviewed Condoleeza Rice and kept interrupting her every 10 or 15 seconds. She was the lone Republican she interviewed that day. Then he had three Democrats on, and let them ramble on extensively without interruptions. One guy, I forget his name, actually made a self-serving speech for a minute and a half while Stephanopoulus smiled approvingly and didn't open his mouth.

This travesty of what used to be a good political show is disgusting. But then, it is probably produced by someone who is part of the Hollywood/New York liberal establishment that thinks the New York Times is a centrist newspaper.

"In an astonishing reversal of nine previous U.S. administrations, the Clinton-Gore administration, in 1994, committed not only to provide foreign aid for North Korea, but to earmark that aid primarily for the construction of nuclear reactors worth up to $6 billion," the House report noted.

Like George Will said, "Bill Clinton...one of the worst humans to be President..." or something along those lines.Much more will be revealed in the coming years.

I bet the Clintons got a tidy little kick back for being so helpful to N.Korea.

Like George Will said, "Bill Clinton...one of the worst humans to be President..." or something along those lines.Much more will be revealed in the coming years.

You have to love George Will. How the man can tolerate "Kiddy Hour with Georgie and Friends on ABC" is amazing.

I think Will's quote will resonate throughout history:

"Bill Clinton may not have been our nation's worst President, but there is ample evidence that he most likely is the worst person ever to be President."

Will then wrote about Clinton's rape charge by Juannita Broaddrick, and Clinton's numerous allegations of sexual assault.

When Will's article was published, some newspapers removed the paragraphs where Will talked about the rapes and sexual assaults by Clinton.

But the media is all "right-wing" now controlled by Rush Limbaugh and FOX News, don't cha know.

From what you posted, I wish I had had the opportunity to "choose" to see the most recent episode of the "George Steffie-awfulness" sit-com. (Most Sundays I get to use my constitutional right to "choose" whether or not to watch him.)

Thanks for letting us know what Powell said. It sounds like he was pretty firm.

I'll bet some liberals wish they hadn't listenened to George S's show today. Now they might have indigestion right through to 2003.

the Clinton administration did have a declaratatory policy that if anything else happened at (North Korea's nuclear facility at) Yongbyon they would attack it.

That would have been in '94 or '93. It was public knowledge.

I believe that the spread of NBC weapons across the globe is part of a plan to re-create the balance of terror in the world. The U.S.A. must be contained at any cost, and not be allowed to spread it's version of Democracy.

Liberals have always sought to reduce the lead the U.S. had over less capable nuclear equipped adversaries.

Remember the "mutually assured destruction" mantra the liberals pontificated in the 70s, I believe? This treatise proclaimed that the world was a much safer place when the U.S. was faced by a equal but opposite array of nuclear weapons. Somehow the liberals believed that our enemies slept easier if they had megaweapons aimed at the U.S. but would never use them.

So it is not suprising that the Clintonistas let the WMDs proliferate with a wink and a handshake. Besides the CinC had more pleasant activities to attend to.

But remember during the Clinton administration, no nuclear missiles are any longer aimed at the children of the United States.

He did it for the children! LOL!
