I don't see anything in his most recent postings that would justify a suspension, unless he didn't heed a private warning. No moderator has said anything to me since I exchanged a series of messages with Jim about Houmatt a few weeks ago. So, I'm wondering if Houmatt starting abusing Jim or another moderator in private email. Well, he did send me a nastygram freepmail a few weeks ago, but I pretty much ignored it. I spend enough time in usenet to not take offense to such remarks. :^)
My suspicion is that the moderators saw the direction that threads on the subject take when he gets involved and decided to put an end to it without deleting the thread (which is probably what he wanted). Its probably for the best as its hard to resist taking a little poke at him and watching the response. Some people seem to attract teasing for some reason.
