Really good atricle blam....Encke most likely a Super torn appart...throtling the inner solar system for thousands of years...
Came across an article concerning "Stonehenge"..the comment being that Stonehenge may be a celestial clock..marking the transit periods of earth crossing the Taurid meteor stream.
We may not see Encke as such a threat..possibly due to the fact that much of Encke's debrie stream as allready impacted amidst our inner system.
but...long ago...that might not have been the case.
Mankind terrified during the seasons when earth crossed Encke's ellipse.
