Miami got hosed. No way was that pass interference in the first overtime. Not another... Do you think that wrapping your arms around the offensive player 5 yds past the line of scrimmage is legal? I don't, and the ref didn't either when he called 'holding - pass interference'.
Go Blue!

The replays showed he didn't even touch the guy until the ball was way past the guy. Oh well. Hope that official got paid well. I don't really care for Miami, but I hate to see the officials spoil such an exciting game.

'holding - pass interference'There is no such a thing as "holding-pass interference"
It's one or the other with seperate and distinct penalties imposed for each infraction.

It was either pass interference or defensive holding. Either way it would have been first and goal.

As Dan Fouts said -you'd have a point if the call was for "holding". It wasn't. From what I saw, though, all the contact was within the first 5 yards.
Irrelevant, nontheless as that is Football! You gotta take it with or without the bad calls.
Great Game! Congrats OSU and Congrats Big 10 and the increase in respect of all Big 10 schools
Go Blue!

How many holding calls did you see in the whole game? The reason Dorsey didn't get sacked more was consistant holding by his line. When you've got your hand down the front of the inside of the Defender's pads, that's more than incidental. Clarret was held and turned to end the first drive. Winslow was a yard short of the first down on the Canes second touchdown drive (Clearly down on his back short of the 34, much less when his knee touched. slid on his back, and ball rolled up over his shoulder...which was where it was marked). Lots of little goofs.
