If your position is that term limits should be ignored in this one instance because there is a good reason to keep the guy on, then we might as well scrap term limits altogether, because to the people in power there is always a good reason to keep the guy on.

No, I don't think term limits should be ignored. I think they should be scrapped altogether. They make about as much sense as CFR.
